Municipal Enquirer/Stand-Up Mad
Now, though my fellow psychiatrized will not get the same thing out of this page as the local yokels do, (since a friend in Germany or Australia etc. does not know any of these people), the locals DO know them, even without names and locations. I am sure they will find it more interesting when they hear themselves being mentioned and all the acting out they do regarding me from MY point of view, which they still seem to believe is mysteriously ‘hidden’ from me.
So this is now going to be a sort of Municipal Enquirer type blog page with a stand-up comedy sort of attitude to it. This is how I am going to mock and ridicule the mocking and ridiculing “normies” in a full circle kind of way. (not that they do that of course!)
Now remember readers; if you are a local and ‘think’ I am ‘talking about you’, even though I did not actually ‘say your name’, don’t make the mistake of ‘whining and complaining’ about it like us whack jobs do, as you too may be getting some ‘help’ with your personality disorders just like we have.
There are four possible ‘symptoms’ right in the above statement so stay sharp and keep a wary eye open for the “help.” Your own diagnosis is just a symptom or two away so be very cautious about what you say in public or an A.C.T. team member may be in your home assessing the crap out of you and your life, as it is perceived by your neighbours or perhaps the sales associate at the dollar store, before you ever know what hit you.

New Commercial
What Do They Sell Us?

Well, instead of just accepting everything ''at face value'', let's look at this a little more closely. Perhaps we too can find the kind of ''hidden meaning'' which psychiatry prides itself ''on seeing which which the rest of us are not ''allowed'' to see anywhere.
Here is a description of a new mental health commercial which is being aired right now. It is presumably one of those ''stigma'' reducing type things which is going to get all of us psychiatrized people treated with ''respect.''

It goes roughly like this:
We enter into a hospital setting in which serious looking people are doing tests on other serious looking people who are clearly looking for help.
We watch as the diabetic sits on an examining table while a medical professional takes blood to test.
We watch a second scene as a woman who is suspected of having cancer is readied for her examination through the use of an MRI or CT scan.
The voice over than compares for us the 'treatment' of mental illness by comparing it to these two other (bona fide) diseases. Our heart strings are now tugged by asking us all,
''You wouldn't deprive your loved ones of treatment for these other diseases, would you?
If you had a loved one with diabetes would you treat them?
If you had a loved one with cancer, would you treat them?
If you had a loved one with addictions or other mental health issues would you treat them?''
There is a bit more with violin music or such and we are all left, supposedly shamed for our lack of compassion for the ''mentally ill.''
Got the picture? (If I can find this commercial on line I will include it here too so you can watch it for yourself. Update: I looked since writing this and I cannot find it. Perhaps in a short period of time it will show up)
Now: Notice anything ''different'' about this commercial as compared to commercials for cancer treatment or for the control of diabetes?
Think about it for a little while and I will let you know what, I, as a psychiatrized person, see and hear immediately when it is ME watching and listening to it. Before I tell you though , I want you to think about it yourself first.

What's Different?
All Right then: I am back for part two.
Now here is what I see that is different to me than if I were watching a commercial for real bona fide diseases like diabetes or cancer.
1. Actual tests are being performed on the bodies of the sufferers.
2. They are not trying to run out of the room.
3. They are not handcuffed to the gurney
4. They don't look as terrified.
5. No police officers are there with their hats either on or off.
6. There are no tasers in evidence in case the cancer patient or the diabetic decides against treatment.
7. They seem to be talked to directly rather than about in the third person which is what I call 'objectifying' someone. The wording suggests someone is being 'deprived' of something that he or she really want. I find the choice of language to be quite politically manipulative.
8. 'Does anyone notice that the 'mad ' people have no say in their own experiences?
9. Let's look at the language use again:"If you had a loved one with diabetes, you'd treat them wouldn't you? I would say the answer to that is NO. Not unless we are talking about a child. Or perhaps we are talking about human beings being treated 'as if' they were children? Is that it? If that's not it than 'NO, I would not treat a loved one with diabetes because it would be insulting and disrespectful to take over the life of another adult and talk about him or her like she was not there. The diabetic must make his or her own decisions about his/her own body . Likewise the patient with cancer who will decide for him or herself or not to accept chemo, surgery or radiation. The patient is considered to have dominion over his/her own body EVEN IF refusing treatment causes an earlier death. ( a danger to himself) Either of those people even get to decide for themselves to take NO treatment and no one will be at his or her door with a warrant to place the diabetic under 'high blood sugar' arrest.
So why don't we all stop kidding ourselves that what people define as 'mental illness is just like any other disease such as diabetes, or cancer, or asthma. ..Even the people who are pushing it don't believe it for a second.
People are placed under psychiatric arrest for having the 'wrong' thoughts or the 'wrong' feelings as defined by third parties usually operating 'covertly.' There is no legitimate comparison to real bona fide diseases. Try visualising a diabetic being dragged into the hospital by the police for failure to take his insulin or a cancer patient being chained to a gurney so they can radiate her against her will. Seems ludicrous doesn't it?
It IS ludicrous; so let's get real.

Splitting Formula for Sustained Dysfunction
The people who I think are talking about me, are talking about me while believing they are somehow hidden in plain sight. Since they are hiding in plain sight, they conclude they are not the people who are talking about me and the people I think are talking about me must be some other people, and not them. In fact, the people I am talking about, must be some imaginary people I only 'think' I see and hear, because I am crazy. Since I am obviously crazy then, the people I think are talking about me, in my presence, can keep right on talking about me, as I am so crazy I will not know they are talking about me anyway.

Ontario Provincial Police
Warns Public About Website

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in cooperation with the Ontario Corrections Intelligence Unit are warning the public about certain criminal websites possibly being used by thieves to break into your home when you are away. These websites used by criminals are linked to popular social networking websites. On these social networking websites (which are legitimate) you can update your profile to inform your friends as to when you are away from your residence and for how long. Certain criminal websites extracts this information and posts it on its pages and informs their users in any part of the world which houses are empty and at what times. When you consider how many millions of people use social networking websites around the world, the effects can be huge. The public is reminded that items posted on social networking websites are available to all on the web and not all persons on the web are “friends”. Please restrict what you put on your networking page(s) including photos of your residence/address, photos of vehicles including plate numbers and any up to the minute information as to your whereabouts, keep that for your local friends/people you know personally.

The First Delusion
The I/thou splitting of experience.
The first delusion and it is an increasingly common one, is that one is not an equal participant in life but rather an ‘objective observer’ of ‘others.’
Of course if the psychiatrized even suggest such a thing as ‘objective observation’ of others is true for them, they get an increase in medication too reduce their grandiosity.
Psychiatrists, on the other hand, are actually trained to adopt and embrace this attitude and belief right away along with emotional detachment and reductionism. We refer to the skewed results of this as ‘the clinical gaze.’
Once this I/thou splitting is accepted and takes psychological hold of those employing it, those under it’s spell fail to see, hear or understand any longer that , “That which you are observing is also observing you.”
We have always been there. Where have YOU been ‘taken’ so that you could not see us or hear us right in front of you?

Just Like Diabetes
So how many diabetics would you police services say you have to pick up and take to the emergency rooms every year? Do you have to cuff, or taser, a lot of these people always whining and complaining about their high blood sugar and/or insulin overdoses? You would think they would be grateful wouldn’t you, about all the help they are getting?

Third Party Assessments
Why would people, including some we don’t know, who don’t know us, talk about us disparagingly, right in front of us like we aren’t really there?
Well the belief from the ‘normal’ others’ perspective seems to go something like this:
It is OK if we talk about her right in front of her because she is stupid and/or crazy and will not understand what we are talking about anyway. At times, oblivious to their own irrationality, they even SAY that while I am standing there looking at them.
We whack jobs often think they are doing it on purpose because we don’t believe it is possible for people to be so stupid as to be that unaware of themselves, or us.
I just got a little fridge magnet to remind me of this groupthink routine which says,
“Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.”
I will try to lower my expectations so that I will not make that mistake again.

Self Promotion
One cannot appeal to the conscience of a sociopath as this is not what motivates him/her.
What motivates him/her is total self interest and all s/he does and says is with that end in mind. Therefore, the only way to stop one acting out for his/her own gain is to make it more personally beneficial to him/her to do so, than to continue along in his/her ‘game.’
The same sort of thing applies to witnesses. If it costs them MORE to conceal the truth than it does to tell it, they will tend to co-operate out of self interest, not guilt or ethics, but out of the same things which motivated many of them to conceal the truth in the first place. It is all about them.

Some of us who get targeted by 'Power' in situations where it seems there is no escape possible, have no choice but to crawl through a whole pile of other people's shit to make it out the other side. Now, what do you suppose I mean by that?
Let me 'enlighten' you. by asking again...'est-hole'? Have you ever read the Shawshank Redemption?..
